Our Oil Jetty The cornerstone of our operations at Marshall Oil & Gas Services Ltd.
Our jetty, with a total length of 303m and a width of 75m, is strategically located and built to international standards. It boasts a water depth of -14 meters, enabling the berthing of oil carriers ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 DWT. This makes it a crucial link in the oil and gas supply chain, capable of handling a wide range of vessels and ensuring efficient loading and unloading of oil and gas products.
The jetty’s foundation is robust, built on steel encased bored concrete piles with lengths between 24 and 30 m that are cast in situ and partly reinforced. The upper jetty structure is a combination of precast concrete main beams, precast slabs, and filings cast in situ, as well as concrete toppings. This solid construction ensures the jetty’s durability and safety.
The jetty is divided into two parts. The main jetty houses the marine loading arms, which handle a variety of products including PMS, AGO, HFO, LPG, and Bitumen. The manifold area, on the other hand, houses the metering systems, slop tanks, and pigging system, ensuring precise measurement and efficient handling of products.
Safety is our utmost priority. Both the main jetty and the manifold area are equipped with automated firefighting systems. Regular inspections and maintenance activities are carried out to ensure the jetty remains in optimal condition, providing a safe environment for our employees, contractors, and visitors.
At Marshall Oil & Gas Services Ltd, our jetty is more than just a physical structure. It is a testament to our commitment to safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility. It plays a vital role in our mission to contribute significantly to the economies we operate in, and it stands as a symbol of our vision to be a global leader in the oil and gas industry.
